Random acts of funny!

OK, I'll admit it, I haven't been in the blogging mood these days. With a baby that doesn't sleep and a busy three year old, I find myself keeping busy with other stuff. When I finally sit down to do computer stuff, I wizz right by the blog and say, "maybe tomorrow". So, here's some pics of the kids and what we've been up to these days.

The fleece pants I made. I should really make another pair because these are to small with cloth diapers. I should have figured in the big cloth rumpus when I made them.

Max teaching Isaac how to read. We went through a phase where Max would have nothing to do with Isaac. Now, he wants to hold him, teach him and play with him.

Notice the red eyes? Thats what they call sleep deprived.

Mom calls this baby wearing. I kind of like it!
Pretty soon, I'll be able to suck on my toes when im in here, I know you're all looking forward to that. Rest assured mom will post a pic of it.

Not another birthday party!

Max and daddy being silly!
What do you get when you put a bunch of items in water? A bucket O' fun.
We were teaching Max which items sink or float. He loved the water more than anything, but he did get the concept.
I really hope to blog more frequently, I like journaling about the kids, but it just takes time and patience. These days I have neither. This post only took me 40 minutes...quite possibly the world record for the longest time to make a post.

Raising a Drummer

Hi - It's Max and Isaacs Dad here. The other night I was trying to keep Isaac happy and I tried teaching him how to "air drum". I know a 4 month old will never be able to learn, but it was fun anyway. Watch the video and have a god laugh!

Recent conversation...

with a three year old.

While playing with play food
Max: Mommy, what is this? (imagine the wrinkled nose and furrowed brow here)
Me: It's a chicken leg
Max: Well, can it walk?
Me: (Laughing) If you want it to!
Max: Ok!
And off him and the chicken leg go.

Max is very observant, notices and hears everything. We have to be very careful around him.

Here are just a few of his favorite lines these days

Who was that mom?
What is that?
I smell something!
OK?!
