104'!!!

Max's temperature that is. Yesterday he woke up from his nap and he was burning up, I took his temp all three ways I knew (ear, rectal and under the arm), all three came out completely different. Rectal temp was 104', subtract a degree (which I never knew) and it's been a consistant 103'. So, we took Max to Urgent Care last night and discovered he had a mild ear infection. We buzzed over to Walmart to fill the prescription, walked around the store and had Max throwing up all over. Thankfully it was isolated and he only threw up in one aisle. It was a lot and I felt awful leaving the mess there but we rushed out the store, brought him, bathed and put him bed.

This morning he seemed like himself, still a little warm. I ran to Cub for a few groceries and I thought he'd pass out in the car (from being tired and warn out). He's resting now, for how long I don't know.
Sick kids is absolutely no fun, you feel helpless and wonder how you can help them and make them feel better. He's only 2.5, so he can't exactly tell me something is wrong, but when he tells me he wants to go to bed, I know there's something wrong. Hopefully, by tomorrow he'll be back on his feet feeling better.
